Partnership Helps Matrix42 Expand its Work in the Field of Cyber Resilience
Collaboration with cyber protection company Acronis since February 2021
Matrix42 further expands its partnership network: On February 1, 2021, the Workspace Management specialist forged a technical alliance with cyber protection provider Acronis, which specializes primarily in the field of cyber security. The partnership has been advantageous, particularly for the customers of both companies.
“This collaboration unlocks enormous potential for both companies – and more importantly, for our customers,” says Oliver Bendig, CEO at Matrix42. “Both Matrix42 and Acronis are highly specialized. By combining our expert knowledge, we can generate numerous innovative synergies, which, thanks to the backup and restore solutions provided by Acronis, are highly profitable, particularly in the field of cyber resilience.” The integrated, automated cyber protection solutions from cyber protection provider Acronis combine both data protection and cyber security – and perfectly complement the Matrix42 portfolio. IT security is becoming more important for companies all the time: In 2018, the global cost of cybercrime was estimated at 600 billion dollars, and that figure is set to rise to approximately three trillion dollars by 2020. In light of those numbers, it is hard to overstate the benefits of robust protection against cyber-attacks.
This collaboration with Matrix42 offers numerous advantages for customers: In the first place, the Secure Unified Endpoint Management solutions from Matrix42 help to speed up the roll-out of Acronis products through the use of automated processes. On top of that, it is easy to integrate additional devices using Matrix42 Asset Management. Finally, the partners are also optimizing their strategy to boost IT resilience in organizations confronted with cyberattacks. Should an incident occur, for example a security breach caused by ransomware, the service desk automatically generates a ticket and then the breach on the affected device is automatically rectified without impacting the user’s productivity. This ultimately improves the user experience while increasing security.
Jan-Jaap Jager, Board Adviser at Acronis, adds: “We are pleased to gain Matrix42 as a partner. Thanks to this collaboration, both companies are elevating their products and services to the next level.” Customers will now be able to inquire about Acronis products on the Matrix42 Self Service Portal.
