Frankfurt, 01 October 2024 - In April 2024, Matrix42 acquired the Northern European Service Management provider Efecte. The new Matrix42 now presents itself with a new branding and a unified offering in Service Management, including AI. The comprehensive product portfolio builds on the best of both technologies and includes three solution offerings that specifically address the challenges of medium-sized companies in Europe.
After several months of integration, the new Matrix42 is now being unveiled. The combined service management offering is the result of the successful merger with the Finnish company Efecte and allows the company to address a wide range of customers.

The Matrix42 offering integrates both the Matrix42 and Efecte technologies and is intended to effectively address and map current challenges faced by European organizations such as doing more with less, optimizing costs, managing technology risks, ensuring their data is secure and compliance with new directives such as NIS2. It includes three solution offerings that match different levels of maturity in service management and can grow according to the evolving needs of the companies:
- Matrix42 Core: A scalable solution with out-of-the-box processes and functionalities for a quick and easy start with IT Service Management.
- Matrix42 Professional: A powerful service management solution with out-of-the-box processes for IT and Enterprise Service management.
- Matrix42 Enterprise: An end-to-end IT management suite with integrated solutions for the comprehensive management of assets, services, processes, and devices.
All solution offerings either include or can be enhanced with Matrix42 Intelligence, the new Matrix42 AI capabilities to boost agent and end user productivity and experience.
The combined offering includes a wide range of features designed to support Matrix42 customers according to their exact needs. With three different deployment models, including cloud, on premise or hybrid, it adapts to individual requirements in terms of data security and compliance. Matrix42 also introduces a transparent licensing and pricing structure to give every organization a clear understanding of the assets used and the associated costs.
