School to benefit from easier software packaging deployment and desktop management
Matrix42 today announced that St Mary’s School Ascot, a leading boarding school for girls, has selected Matrix42’s workspace management solution. The software will be implemented by Matrix42 competence partner Incit Technology and will enable the school to more easily package and deploy software to the school’s devices. St Mary’s School Ascot is one of the most prestigious Roman Catholic girls school in the UK. IT is a key part of the classroom and all pupils typically use a laptop or mobile device. The school makes extensive use of laptops and tablets, and ensuring these devices are kept up to date can be challenging. The school’s evaluation included a detailed demo and a Proof of Concept day which involved deploying live software to the school’s hardware. St Mary’s School Ascot also took advantage of Matrix42’s cloud-based trial to more fully explore the software’s range of functionality. The school chose Matrix42 Corporate as a flexible and future proof solution to its requirements.Kevin Delaney, IT Support Manager, St Mary’s School Ascot commented, “We regularly deploy software such as operating systems to new devices.
