Mastering the own data, thanks to automation!

‘We spent years implementing an alternative service management automation system internationally that ultimately did not deliver what it promised. With Matrix42, it took less than six months to roll out a unified system that works across all our locations. I am incredibly impressed with the simplicity and flexibility of the Matrix42 solution.’ (Roland Hampel, Project Leader at KWS SAAT SE)

With core markets in Germany, Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and China, KWS SAAT SE is one of the world’s leading seed producers with 4,950 employees in more than 70 countries. It has been operating independently as a crop breeder for around 160 years. The primary goal of its activities is to provide farmers in conventional and ecological agriculture sectors with efficient, high-yield varieties and solutions that match their needs based on the relevant local climate and geological conditions. The company’s 4,950 employees support its activities in more than 70 countries, including its core markets in Germany, Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and China.

KWS SAAT SE attempted to implement a unified global service management automation system but realized, that the solution originally selected was never going to meet their needs. Performance was slow, process mapping and the integration of new features were extremely labor-intensive, and the company’s international subsidiaries and partners were unable to use the system. Not only that, the system’s interfaces were difficult to use, even for experienced IT professionals.

Read how KWS SAAT SE has mastered the challenge of automation with Matrix42 Service Management:
  • Rollout of the new solution for over 4,500 users and 25 international providers
  • Implementation including training conducted in less than six months
  • Management of all support processes by using a unified system
  • Increased efficiency thanks to a high degree of process standardization and automation
