More data sources for EMM solution: Silverback by Matrix42 with extended content management

Responding to growing appetite on the market for mobile access to company documents and file storage systems, Matrix42 is releasing a new version of its Enterprise Mobility Management solution Silverback. Mobile and cloud computing are more widespread than ever, which is why workspace management specialist Matrix42 has expanded its Silverback content management solution. The extension starting with version 5.0 update 2 takes in both existing on-premise data sources such as Windows File Share or SharePoint, as well as cloud data sources in widespread use such as OneDrive for Business, Dropbox, Google Drive, Box or OwnCloud. The new features all come with the accustomed Matrix42 usability: all data sources can be accessed via the easy-to-use Matrix42 mobile app for Android & iOS. Matrix42 has also significantly simplified all the content management server components and installation routines, and ensures 100% compatibility with the Matrix42 cloud. The extension makes mobile working much more efficient and secure. An insurance agent, for example, can take photos and make sketches and notes on the spot when recording the details of an accident, and have the information automatically saved to the correct folder in the company network or other storage system. Intermediate steps such as switching between apps are eliminated.  Silverback by Matrix42 is a comprehensive solution for mobile device and workspace management. This solution recently earned Matrix42 its inclusion in Gartner’s 2016 Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM), making Matrix42 one of the top 15 EMM makers worldwide of more than 50 providers
