Matrix42 appoints Philippe Ortodoro to head global sales
The new Senior Vice President Global Sales will drive the ambitious growth plans of Matrix42 worldwide.
London, England, 21 March 2016 – Workspace management specialist Matrix42 announces the appointment of Philippe Ortodoro as Senior Vice President Global Sales. Ortodoro’s tenure in his new role begins with immediate effect.Commenting on the new appointment, Michael Schmidt, COO of Matrix42, says “Matrix42 has ambitious targets to grow sales and revenues worldwide. His professional experience includes leadership roles at a range of IT and technology companies, where he has consistently delivered success in terms of revenue growth. As general manager and VP of EMEA at LANDesk Software, Ortodoro supervised a period of extensive growth, building LANDesk into a profitable division of Intel and managing the EMEA region during the spin-out into a privately held company. As VP EMEA Sales for IT security company Watchguard, Ortodoro delivered substantial sales growth in EMEA, creating an excellent position for the company on the EMEA markets. Ortodoro has also been VP EMEA at Sparxent, where he supervised numerous acquisitions, and Director of Sales for Southern Europe at Trend Micro.
