Matrix42 appoints Jaap Blankevoort as General Manager Benelux


Matrix42, software provider of workspace management solutions, has appointed Jaap Blankevoort as General Manager Benelux. Jaap will be responsible for achieving growth and expanding the organization in the region. Matrix42 offers a complete range of solutions for workspace management, and the neces-sary consultancy to support both small and large clients globally. The company delivers total workspace solutions and comprehensive client management to more than 3000 customers across 8 countries, and growing at 25% year on year.Together with Matrix42’s Global growth activities this year, Jaap will increase focus on serving large organizations and, develop SMB customers.  Although this initiative will be led direct-to-market via Jaaps’ appointment of a dedicated workspace specialist, Matrix42 remains committed to the current partner channel. Experience and commercial expertise Jaap Blankevoort can rely on years of experience in commercial positions within IT and technology. This makes him very well-suited to further develop Matrix42 in the Benelux and give it a commercial boost. In addition, his experience and commercial expertise helps him shape and implement the plans for the company. Jaap started his career at Philips Business Electronics, where he developed a product line of Broadcast cameras and bore responsibility for this. Afterwards, he has held various commercial positions at Capgemini for seventeen years. As a Client Director he was responsible for some of the top-ten clients, and received the worldwide 'Achieving Consistent Excellence in Sales’ award. As a Sales Manager he and his team worked with software providers to sell packaged license, consultancy and maintenance solutions.
