SDDM 4.5.0: Authentication & Advanced Events

Ken Adamson
Senior Product Manager

The SDDM 4.5.0 release builds on what was started in 4.3.0’s Event Management and general Asset Monitoring ITIL disciplines by adding an ability to combine multiple Event Definitions into a single failure notification based on unique criteria for either a group of common Configuration Item types, or for an entire Service.

Throughout the application, a special focus was placed on quality-of-life improvements with finding and managing assets and on delivering better information around Dependencies and their impact to a service’s deviations from the baseline.

To round everything out, we’ve also updated the application’s security and audit trail to provide a more robust knowledge around who is authenticated, and who made a given change within the application.
