Today the MyWorkspace team has a really nice feature for you: The long awaited IP filtering is public available!
Users of MyWorkspace have now the option to allow or deny access for an application via IP filtering. Therefore you just need to navigate to the edit panel of a selected application and select the new policies tab.
After enabling the IP filtering you have to add a new IP range. If you click on ‘+ Add a new IP-Range’ a popup shows up.
In this popup you are now able to name your new IP filter rule you want to create. In addition you need to provide an IP range with start and end IP address.
In the example picture we want to have a rule for all IP’s in the range from 10.11.12.13 to 10.11.12.14. If you safe the rule it shows up in the IP filter section. You are able to add more rules if you want.
Furthermore you have the option to allow or deny access for the IP’s in the selected IP rules. In the depicted scenario all IP’s in the range from 10.11.12.13 to 10.11.12.14 are allowed to access the app.
If you don’t have access to an application because of an applied policy, you will get an error message.
