Second win in a row: TAP Desktop Solutions named “Matrix42 Partner 2010”

Neu-Isenburg, Germany, June 14, 2011 – TAP Desktop Solutions GmbH from Straubing, Germany, was named “Best Performing Matrix42 Partner” for the second time running. The specialist team surrounding Managing Director Michael Krause has had reason to celebrate from the very begin-ning: TAP became a sales partner of the German software vendor Matrix42 in June 2007, and since then the company has always made one of the top two places in the annual partner nominations.

With this award, Matrix 42 honors the Bavarian company’s above-average performance regarding license revenues, growth and single projects. “The collaboration with TAP means a fruitful partnership to us. We often develop new ideas and solutions together with TAP in mutual customer meetings – ideas and solutions other customers will profit from as well,” explains Karl-Martin Haaf, Channel Director EMEA at Matrix42.

TAP Desktop Solutions: Solution Partner pioneers
Haaf considers the successful cooperation an affirmation of his profit-related channel programs. “TAP has reached the highest certification level of our partner program. They are a Solution Partner and, as such, are very familiar with the Matrix42 portfolio and have a lot of experience in implementing our products. They are also able to carry out product modifications themselves if required,” praises Haaf. The very first mutual customer of Matrix42 and TAP was Zollner Elektronik AG, a company still relying on Empirum and the TAP consultation services today.

In 2010, the TAP consulting services were responsible for a significant share of over 1 million euros of Matrix42’s license revenue. TAP has been building their business through word-of-mouth in the areas of service and systems management over the past years, and the company was able to implement Matrix42 products for 27 new customers last year alone – including two major projects with a six-digit license volume each.

200 customers with 180,000 desktops
The independent IT consulting firm TAP Desktop Solutions was founded in 2007 by Michael Krause and Dirk Haus. The company is headquartered in Straubing, but also has offices in Karlsruhe, Berlin and Graz (Austria). Almost 20 IT specialists take care of a small, but fine selection of customers. The TAP team is the first point of contact for 200 Matrix42 customers who share a total of 180,000 clients between them. TAP’s customers are spread all across Europe – from Bremen to Graz, and from Saarbrücken to Prague.
