With Matrix42, even small and medium-sized customers can gain easy and cost-effective entry into the virtual desktop world. - Complete Lifecycle Management for Apple Macintosh computers
The Empirum Service Pack also provides complete support for Macintosh, allowing IT administrators to automate the roll out of software to Mac OS X systems, supporting Leopard, Snow Leopard, and the latest version Lion. - Improved Reporting
Empirum v14 SP1 has been enhanced with new standard reports and a revised reporting framework based on Microsoft SQL Reporting Services. This allows customers to more easily customize and upgrade reports. - Infrastructure optimization, ITSM integration and customer feedback
Service Pack 1 also includes several minor improvements and implementation of customer requests. For example, the ITSM and Service Catalog integration has been improved to support highly secure customer environments along with various improvements to the Web console and the Empirum OS Installer. Large administration teams for example, will benefit from easier operation of their systems. - BMC BBCA (Marimba) Integration
The new version also includes improved integration with BMC's Client Lifecycle Management Product - Blade Logic Client Automation (BBCA).
