Holger Maul
Holger Maul is member of the executive board and founder of matrix42 AG, and is responsible for the development of Empirum, as well as Delivery and Sales outside Americas. He is also CTO of matrix42 USA, Inc.
Maul founded the ISM Intelligent Software Management GmbH in 1992, the predecessor of matrix42 AG. ISM imported software solutions, mainly from the USA, and adapted them to the needs of the German companies, thus creating custom-made IT Management solutions. His passion for Science-Fiction movies and novels is reflected in the company name of matrix42.
Beate-Ulrike Köhler
Beate-Ulrike Köhler is member of the executive board of matrix42 AG. She heads the departments of Finance, Human Ressources, Administration and Marketing outside the Americas. She is also CFO of matrix42 USA, Inc. Mrs. Köhler came to matrix42 in September 2001 – first as Interim Manager.
Her career began in 1983 at Deutsche Bank, where she went through various positions, while studying Business Administration. Upon completion of her studies, she became a Managing Director for Corporate Finance.
In 2000, she became Managing Director of the German-American joint venture Global Capital Europe GmbH where one of her many duties were to look after matrix42 AG as a portfolio company. Beate-Ulrike Köhler currently has a Lectureship for Financing and Investment at the Frankfurt am Main University of Applied Sciences.
Klaus Hartmann
Since 2008, Klaus Hartmann has been a member of the board of matrix42 AG. As Chief Sales & Marketing Officer he is in charge of customer relations and customer acquisition.
For more than 20 years, Klaus Hartmann worked for IBM, where he held various management positions in Germany and abroad. After leaving IBM, he built up various IT companies as managing director and partner. In 2004, he started his successful work as sales director for matrix42. With his appointment as a member of the board of matrix42, customer relations with business partners, mostly from the mid-segment, and the development of the large enterprise business have become a top-management priority at matrix42.
