The “Top 100” seal of approval is awarded annually after an exacting, independent, scientific comparative review of midsized companies by a leading Viennese university. The seal confirms the innovative strength of selected enterprises. Matrix42’s award is recognition of their innovative power, the level of innovative structures and the success of their innovative commitment.

Matrix42 has reached the Top 50 in the competition “Germany’s Customer Champions 2008“. This was the conclusion of an analysis by business magazine “impulse,” the German Society for Quality (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualität) and the Mainzer forum! Marktforschung GmbH, which initiated the competition and examined customer relationship management in 50 companies. According to its research, Matrix42 and its Lifecycle Management product, Empirum, is considered one of the 50 companies with the best customer relationships. The research not only considered the views of the company but also of customers and experts.

Matrix42 has won the award 2008 Innovation Prize (INNOVATIONSPREIS 2008) for its product Empirum, in the category “Systems Management”. This annual award is given to medium-sized businesses for outstanding performance in their line of business. The annual award for innovation in initiatives for medium-sized businesses (Initiative Mittelstand), recognizes the most innovative products and solutions based on their degree of innovation and suitability to medium-sized companies. The award acknowledges Matrix42 for meeting the requirements of medium-sized companies in best practice and information management within the ITK section. Matrix42 is awarded the Innovation Prize for its Empirum product and services, and recognized for giving companies the ability to increase competitiveness in a crowded marketplace.

Matrix42 was also named in the 2008 Enterprise Management Associates analyst “All Star” report as a Rising Star, a category of best new or innovative vendors with the potential to be on a future All-Star Team. The EMA report highlights what it considers to be the best available software solutions in eighteen specific enterprise systems management disciplines, in order to form a ‘Systems Management All-Star’ team. Three categories of solutions were identified in each discipline: All-Star First Team (a special honor for the ‘best of the best’), All-Stars (the best performers in systems management) and Rising Stars.

With its Pink VERIFY program, Pink Elephant has set up the only independent ITIL certification program worldwide. The Pink VERIFY seal of approval identifies products that support the definitions and workflow requirements of business-critical IT management processes according to ITIL and with a focus on service orientation.
