Matrix42 and Bechtle extend partnership
Dedicated product managers provide advice on the deployment of IT management solutions
02 Nov 2011Neu-Isenburg, Germany, November 2, 2011 – Software vendor Matrix42 and IT service provider and trading firm Bechtle today announced they are enhancing their cooperation and extending their partner agreement. To emphasize the importance of their partnership each company has appointed a channel or product manager responsible for maximizing synergies of the partnership. Customers benefit from this partnership because they are now able to obtain Matrix42 products from the systems house at any time and can count on professional advice regarding any questions they might have.
“Extending our cooperation with Bechtle in a sustainable manner is essential for the Matrix42 channel,” explains Karl-Martin Haaf, Channel Director EMEA at Matrix 42. “We highly appreciate the fact that our solutions are now represented by one of Europe’s leading IT service providers, as this will enhance our market penetration and accelerate our plans for expansion.”
The complete Matrix42 portfolio, including workplace automation for physical, virtual and mobile devices as well as user services and compliance solutions, bears enormous potential for this partnership. Especially with regard to the ever-growing demand for mobile device management solutions which allow for the simple, centralized and secure management of smartphones and tablet PCs. Matrix42’s latest mobile device management solutions offer outstanding possibilities for monitoring the entire lifecycle of mobile devices. From automatic configuration to centralized management and support – Bechtle customers will realize tremendous value. Software vendor Matrix42 will even go one step further in the future: the company plans to certify their distribution partner as a Solution Partner to further promote its positioning in Europe and its products.
“Thanks to the Matrix42 software portfolio we are able to offer our customers attractive solutions for their workplace management. This market has an enormous potential for growth in times of virtualization and cloud computing,” says Ralf Becker, head of software product management at Bechtle Logistik & Service GmbH. “We are very happy to have a German software vendor in our portfolio with Matrix42 that not only sets new standards in the automation of processes, but also in service management.”
In order to bring the different expectations and requirements of the two companies in line with customer demands seamlessly, each company has created a new position: at Matrix42, Channel Director Oliver Feiler is now exclusively responsible for the partnership with Bechtle, while the IT service provider put Michael Backfisch, an experienced product manager, in charge of developing the Matrix42 business. This mutual engagement emphasizes the importance of the partnership from which both companies expect both a higher level of customer satisfaction and increased license revenues.
